by day, i help build a better Internet at Cloudflare, working on storage and database products (bullish on $net, obviously). on my free time, i put ideas into experiments using the Cloudflare developer platform as a noob. i like to play golf, run, read and learning something new all the time.

public projects

this is a collection of my "shower-thought" projects and slightly-less-dumb experiments i've been using to learn the ins and outs of the Cloudflare developer platform and my wife's amazing accessories brand. i like to design logos and have a sort of a self-claimed talent for gimp

what
the platform that finally automates my decade-long obsession with organizing "sports brackets" games.
how
the entire Cloudflare kitchen sink (workers, D1, R2, KV, pages) + react 18, vite, hono, clerk, and stripe. mobile apps are currently "work in progress" (read: i'm fighting with centering a div).
why
for ten years, i've been the designated "spreadsheet guy" for everything from the masters to the premier league. i finally decided to build a professional-grade alternative to my own manual labor. Footzil is for the fans who want a cheap, easy way to prove they know more about football than their friends. try it out for free.
what
a survival guide and itinerary builder for the 2026 World Cup. disclaimer: not affiliated with FiFA; they have way more lawyers than i do.
how
Cloudflare workers, hono APis, D1 database, and clerk for auth. styled with tailwind CSS because life is too short for vanilla CSS.
why
my friends and family were struggling to plan their trips, and i realized "exorbitant prices" is the official theme of 2026. this is 100% free and helps you find the best things to do in host cities without selling a kidney.
what
a premium e-commerce storefront for my wife's amazing accessories brand, blending the reliability of Shopify with a completely custom-coded aesthetic.
how
Shopify core for the heavy lifting, but with a total UI overhaul via custom CSS. All branding, including the logo and asset design, was crafted by yours truly in GIMP.
why
Jessica started an incredible brand, and I wanted to make sure her web presence was as unique as her products. I treated this as an exercise in 'platform hacking' and took a standard CMS and forcing it to follow my own design rules. It’s a labor of love for my favorite person (who, coincidentally, I also happen to be married to).
what
a high-end wedding hub and photo portal for guests who actually like looking at pictures of themselves.
how
workers, KV for speed, R2 for those crisp 4K tears, and Cloudflare Access to keep the wedding crashers out. all in typescript and svelte CSS.
why
since our friends flew across the globe to san miguel de allende, the least i could do was build them a private CDN for their memories. if you want to use this for your own event, hit me up — i'll share the code for free (wedding gift not required, but appreciated).
